Cholchester Zoo and Abbey Gardens
These are a few pics from our trip to Cholchester Zoo. It was really a cool zoo and we can't wait to go back. There are some other fun things for little ones besides just the animals that we'd like to check out. Most of the animals were moving about thier habitats and they have a very large assortment from all sorts of monkeys to crocodiles. The highlights from this trip were the white tiger, the sea lions and peguins, the lemurs and all of the monkeys! There were so many monkeys. Jack thought the crocodile was alittle scary but loved the lion and the lemurs. They were "so cool!"

Our last trip was closer to home but still very nice. We went to see the Abbey Gardens in Bury St. Edmunds. Even thought was mid September the flowers were all still in bloom and very colorful. Jack got to run around in the grass and climb on some of the ruins which he loved. Then we checked out the site of the signing of the Magna Carta. To Jacks delight we also checked out the playground where he decided he needed to try the BIG slide. He climbed all the way to the top with me behind him and then decided it was too high and wanted to get down. After some reassurance he gave it a try and LOVED it! I was very proud that he was so brave (it was kinda high for a little guy).We really had a great time visiting with Mom and Dad! We kept busy and saw lots of sights. Next time though I think we should venture off the island...Europe here we come!
