While we were in Virginia we went to Halifax to see Jimmy and Olivia and the rest of the Epps family. Jack was really excited to know that Jimmy lives on a farm! He started singing the Old MacDonald song when I told him 'Uncle' Jimmy has a farm. It was really cute. Anyway, we went out there to help celebrate Olivia's birthday at a surprise dinner and see the house that they are building. Last time I saw the house it was a BIG hole in the ground and the floor joists were being put down. Now, they are only a few months from moving in and its beautiful!! With a baby due in early February Olivia hopes they are in by Christmas.
The evening of the Oct. 11 Jimmy's masterfully planned surprise dinner for Olivia was a success! Olivia's parents, brother's girlfriend, Jimmy's parents, Jimmy's sister, bro in law and nephew and the three of us were all there to help her celebrate turning 30. Besides being with great people...the food was FAB and Matt got to have #2 on his 'All Time Favorite Beer' list.

The next day Matt and Jimmy went over to the house to do some work while Olivia and I played with Jack and Jake (Jimmy and Liv's nephew who is two months younger than Jack). We took the boys for a ride on the Gator all over the farm. We saw cows, bees, horses, some dogs and an airplane. Then we threw rocks into the pond. After lunch, Matt and Jimmy went on a motorcycle ride and the boys continued to play. Jack had a super duper time and can't wait to go back. He even likes to put a pencil behind his ear like Jimmy! Here are some pics...
