Day trippers

Here are a few pics from some of the day trips we did while my parents were here. Hedingham Castle:

This (below) is the floor of the castle where the people slept. During the day the ladies would embroider or sew and the children would play while the menfolk attended to castle business.

The next picture is the banquet hall where the big dinners and gatherings took place.

This is the cutest squire in all the land! :) Here is a model of what the castle and grounds looked like back in the day.

Imperial War Museum at Duxford:

Dad enjoyed checking out the British and American war planes.

Jack and Nana playing at Duxford. Jack checked out the playground and liked this plane. Fun was had by all! HAHA...really we had fun but we needed alittle rest.
