Matt has been wanting a Cornhole set for a while and recently starting looking online to buy one. After much searching on various sites including ebay and finding out that there is a American Cornhole Association (seriously, no joke!) he decided to just build his own. Jack decided he needed to help. So, now we have a fun game to play at BBQs and picnics! We tried it out recently at a BBQ and it was a hit. Everyone had fun! AND...much to the kiddo's delight Matt has a mini version in production. Jack's friend Kyla can hardly wait!

Ok, here's the back-story...Back when we lived in Colorado we were introduced to the game. Its kinda like horseshoes and a bean bag toss mixed into one. You have two boards that each have a hole in them.

The boards are placed 30 or so feet from each other (or if you have a typical sized garden in England, place them as far apart as you can get them. LOL). Teams of two people try to win points by throwing canvas bags filled with corn at the holes in the board. Hence the name Cornhole! Teams get three points for a ringer and one point if your bag lands on the board. If you like horseshoes, you'll like cornhole...they are very similar.
Here are some pics of Matt and Jack building the Cornhole boards. I will get some action pics uploaded soon. OH...also here is the ACA (ha) website,
http://www.playcornhole.org/, in case you want to build your own set. HAVE FUN!

So cute!!! Gavin is ALWAYS wanting to help build with Ryan... he always gets his tools and hard hat out to work with Daddy!
