Fourth of July!

To celebrate the of July we went to RAF Feltwell for a carnival and fireworks with JP and Josefina O'Dell. There were food tents serving everything from Filipino food, BBQ and of course Funnel Cake. Josefina and Jack both tasted funnel cake for the first time and then Jack had his first Corndog. After eating we walked around the carnival. There were typical games that you'd find at a fair that seem impossible to win and there were games that had "winners every time!" Jack and I played a winner every time game and won a big inflatable stars and stripes hammer! WOW...you've never seen a kid so happy. He also really enjoyed the truck ride. He rode in the Flintstone's style car and really had a good time 'driving.' When it finally got dark (at about 10pm) the fireworks started. It was a pretty good display once it got going. Over all it was a nice way to celebrate the 4th. (Although it did strike me as kinda funny being at a big Independence Day celebration in the country that we celebrate independence from...).
