It's been too long...
...since I've posted. We've been pretty busy in the last six months!
Here's the quick catch up:
23 November Chase Lynwood was born at RAF Lakenheath. Weighing in at 8 lbs 5 oz and 21 inches long he was a healthy baby boy and continues to grow and thrive! Everyday is full of discoveries for him and the rest of us. Jack is enjoying getting to know his baby brother and can't wait for him to get big so they can play together!
My mom was here the 3 weeks or so after Chase was born which was such a great help. The day she left the weather went crazy! It was cold and snowy for most of December and January. Then rainy and cold for the rest of the winter and early Spring. In April we had a visit from Matt's sister and brother in law, Tonya and Zac. We did a whirlwind tour of London and then spent 3 days in Paris. In May, Matt's mom and step dad, Yvonne and Mike, came out for a visit and brought the sunny weather with them! While they were here we toured Windsor Castle, saw Stonehenge, the Roman Baths and the city of Bath. We also spent a day checking out London. They had a great time doting on Jack and Chase!
Jack is now in his last term at Busy Bees Nursery School. He started in the 4 year old room back in April and has been loving every minute of it! He is also taking gymnastics lessons on base and swimming lessons at Busy Bees (they have a cool indoor/heated pool!).
Now we are back to the normal routine and getting geared up to move. That's right! We are on the move again. In September we will be leaving England and heading to Vandenberg AFB, California. The work involved with moving is not all that much fun but the hardest part will be leaving all of our wonderful friends here. It will be a new adventure and we're getting more excited every day. Jack thinks its SUPER cool that we'll be so close to Mickey Mouse's house! SWEET!
In the meantime, I'll try to be better about posting updates and of course you can find us on Facebook and Skype! Love to all!
Emily
